Short
Expanager is an expense manager and budget tracker for Android with no ads and no sign-up. It works fully offline, can turn bank and UPI text messages into expenses automatically, and covers budgets, recurring bills, credit cards, loans and savings goals. Data stays on the phone, with optional backup to the user's own Google Drive.
Long
Expanager is an expense manager and budget tracker for Android, built by an independent developer. It is free to download and has no ads.
Expenses can be added in seconds with a built-in calculator, by voice, or automatically from bank, card and UPI text messages. Messages are read on the phone itself and only when the user turns the feature on. Recurring bills and income add themselves.
Monthly budgets work per category or across several, with a daily spending limit that updates as you go. Wallets cover cash, bank accounts, cards and e-wallets, including credit card limits and due dates. Expanager also tracks loans taken or given, savings goals, and split transactions, and can reconcile your entries against a bank statement.
Insights show the best and worst months, savings rate, a daily spending heatmap and no-spend streaks. Reports export to PDF and Excel, and existing data can be imported from CSV or Excel files.
Everything is stored on the device and works offline, with no account or bank login. Users can back up to a file, or with Premium to a private folder in their own Google Drive. The app is available in 21 languages and supports any currency.
